The tailgate has lock has never opened aside from actually using the key in the tailgate. The interior switch on the door has the same results as with the key: the front passenger door unlocks, but neither rear door does (though there is a sound of something trying to work). In other words, the motors seem to be working--I can hear them--but they do not unlock the doors.
