Lambda light, after installing side markers? S70 1998

First off, thanks for your time and your sharing of your knowledge!!

For some reason at the time, I had thought that the white/blue, blue/red wires may somehow need to go into the engine bay. So i did not cut them, i just peeled the cover off. Then i tapped them into the green and black wires that go to the front turn signal. At that point, the front turn signal was giving power to the side marker AND to whatever was on the other end of the wires, I guess the valve. But the end that I hooked up to the side markers wasn't hooked up to anything, it was attached to the inside of the wheel well. Does the diagram show where the blue/white, blue/red harness should be connected to. Was it not purging since it wasn't connected? AND do i need to see the dealer, to either fix the valve, and/or turn the Lambda off?!

Thanks again!!
