turbo gauge: mechanical or electronic?

hi,

I am thinking of installing a boost gauge on my 850R, and would like to ask your opinion on which is a better way to Äo: mechanical or electronic? I am looking at the choice from several perspectives:

1. Ease of installation: I know how to install mechanical gauge (Bay13), but how do you install an electronic one?

2. Price vs. performance: mechanical gauges are probably cheaper, but are they as reliable as the electronic?

3. Size & ergonomics: A mechanical gauge is slightly bigger than an electronic and 850's dash can't accommodate it in too many places?

Any suggestions/ideas are very welcome.

thanks,
Serban
