ABS/Trac lights on 850

Mine, I think, is located under the abs pump, which had to be lifted off to do the work. My tech checked (and eliminated) all other potential problems first before doing the controller board. Cost me about $300 for the part and $75 for diagnostics and labor.

Sounds like your dealer wants to change the whole system, pump and all. (did you see Yuri's post?)

Tell us what part of the world you live in. Maybe someone here can direct you to a decent indy tech who specializes in Volvos.
