FM reception 850

Hi Erwin,

I have tried other signal boosters but they do need a signal to boost. The antenna in the rear window is definitely the weak link. I've been considering installing a euro style whip antenna like on the V40, but they have a booster built into the base. I figure any antenna that needs a booster, can't be producing that strong a signal in the first place. Will check out the antenna made for the newer Volkswagons and see if they stand on their own and produce decent reception. Of course it would mean drilling a hole in the roof of the car, so I still have to think about it.

Perry.
