Sway Bar Links - How to replace? 850 1995

The links in the '95 do not have a torx end. I replaced mine a few months ago.

What you need to do is insert a wrench between the strut and the sway bar link connection. There are two flats on the inside of the bolt that is turning. I think it is a 15MM. Unless you have a cone (thin) wrench this may tear the rubber boot around the joint, if you are replacing them it doesn't matter.

I pushed the wrench in the tight space and turned the nut until the flat spots were just right and the wrench slid in place holding the link.

Same is true for the bottom. The replacement links have a torx opening on the end and are easy to replace using a wrench and 27Pt. torx bit.

Good luck.

Kirk
