Why does my AC sound Like a jet engine? S70

Recently the AC in my 2000 S70 SE started blowing warm. Brought into my dealer who indicated I lost 2 lbs of coolent, but (of course) couldn't find the leak. They charged and put dye into system. It now blows cold, but the AC at times gets a strange "loud jet engine sound". The system continues to be cold, but the fan seems to work less efficiently. It sometimes stays that way or will stop after a while, and the fan begins to blow full force again but with no specific patterns I can detect.

I would appreciate everyone's help.
