Rust proofing 850

Car's a 1995. I live in Quebec, where we get lots of salt and long winters. ("Ten months of winter and two months of rough sledding" is only a bit of an exageration.) I already have a little bit of rust near a taillight. Yes, I know the car was rustproofed at the factory, but that was seven years and 320,000 km ago. Also, I started that thread about washing under the car, 'cause rust eats the bodies of lots of cars here. I park in a heated garage (condo association, not my choice to heat the garage), and contrary to suggestions in the thread on washing under the car, I won't be parking it outside overnight. I want to take good care of my brick, but I don't want to be a slave to it.
