Although I'm guessing you don't just mean a leaking tire.

If you meant to ask if you happen to destroy a tire do you need to replace the set of all four tires, the simple answer: yes. The circumference of all 4 tires must be identical at all times. You can also not mix and match different brands of tires and you can not drive distances on the doughnut spare tire. You may damage the AWD system if you do.

Some other manufacturers of AWD vehicles (thinking in particular of one HQ'd in Munich, Germany) supply different size tires and wheels front and rear with their AWD systems so the engineering problem is not insurmountable.
