heater blower motor replacement 850 1996

Hello,

I have a '96 850 GLT. Recently, I got a chirping noise coming from the dash. It occurs intermittently when I make sharp turn. After the noise occurs, I was able to deduce the problem to be the heater/ac blower motor. I turn on and off the motor and the chirping noise occurs when the motor is spinning. I think a bearing is going out on the motor.

Anyhow, has anyone replaced the blower motor? If so, how difficult was the process? Is the process in the Haynes manual correct?

Thanks in advance.

Thomas
