Free market at work

Basically it is what people are willing to pay. Supply and demand
(and some good brand management by Michelin). Tires are a pretty
competitive market after all.

If you don't buy that then maybe: Its the OEM tire on a lot of cars.
They probably sell to car manufactures with a very low margin realizing
they make it up at tire replacement time since many people will just
replace with the exact same tire (the no-brainer choice).

I think the Pilot H's are a much better value and selected them over
the MXV4s.
