Putting a Turbo on a 1.8 440 400

I'm toying with the idea of sticking a Turbo on to my 94L 440SE. Has anyone ever done such a thing to a B18U lump? Its got a nice torquey engine that needs a bit more power in the 1500 to 4000 rpm band. You know what I mean. I'm not interested in doing anything to the top end at all. I hate revvy nut screamers.
Anyone got some suggestions as to makes/people to do such a thing? I'll swap rims to something else 15". I'll need the larger raditaor, but no problem to do as I think te existing one has a bit of a weep anyway. The exhaust has been on it ages, and is probably well on the way to rotting through. I can swap that for the bigger turbo version. If I can find a source for one, possibly a 3" one. Anyone else got any experience on that?
Do the gearboxes take the strain OK?
It would be for just fun, not cruising or boy racing, even though I'm only 22, I am not into that one tiny bit.
Ideas?
