Flasher Relay 850 1996

I'm experiencing a problem with my flashers/turn signals. Every once in a while, the hazards will flash a few times while driving. Also when I turn off the car sometimes the both signal lights will just stay on. I've got a flasher relay on order, but even when I remove the flasher relay the signal lights will stay on. After disconnecting/reconnecting the relay or turning the car off and on several times this will turn the signal lights off. Also it seems that the radio reception gets bad when I have this problem.
