O2 codes 850 1997

Check engine light came on and the codes pulled were P1303 or P1033(don't recall exactly because I erased them). I do remember it said Oxegen sensor! Since I have two, was wondering which one is the bad one?? Also my MPG has taken a dive south in the last 2 weeks, could this be related to the bad sensor? From 17mpg/city, I now get about 13.5-13.9!!! TIA for all help!!
