850 Ignition key 850

I find it hard believe that the dealer would have to order a new cable from sweden. Maybe a new precoded igition lock cylinder. Generally, when a dealer says that they have to order a part from sweden it means two things. One the service writer is on drugs, or two, that part is on national backorder. Volvo has three distribution centers in the U.S. all dealers get their parts from them. If your dealer were to order this part on a critical/vor order, whichever warehouse had this cable in stock would send it to your dealer. Even in a worst case scenario the dealer could request a want ad via the volvo dealer only website and find this part for you.
