TIME OUT! XC90

Designers only create to parameters defined by the manufacturer. It has nothing to do with their talent.

My comment refers to some of the American designed cars from the 70's - 90's that I have driven.

To me, the interior of many of these cars was more glitz than substance. A couple of examples are chrome covered plastic knobs and interior trim pieces or oversized graphical displays with limited information. Both are reflected in the XC90's radio and the door handles.

I found these interiors wear on you over the years versus an understated interior that does not demand attention.

My opinion anyway.

Regards, Jeff Evans
