serpentine belt replacement S80

It wasn't too bad when I did mine. You will wonder why Volvo didn't allow another couple mm of clearance to avoid removing the crank pulley. As suggested, remove the front right wheel. Loosen the center crank bolt with the belt tension to help hold the crank and any other crafty idea you can come up with. Then use a tool to remove the tension from the tensioner accessed from the top of the engine. I was able to use a long straight bar and leverage behind the tensioner pulley with a solid bracket at the base of the bar. Slip the belt off the tensioner or any other pulley and let the tensioner go back in place while you then remove the Crank pulley to get the belt off the rest of the way. It makes more sense if you look at the job ahead with the information.
