Thanks for the advice... I don't give a hoot what the state looks at, to tell you the truth.

I had noticed a clunking sound for a few weeks now... they just confirmed my suspicion... used the guy as a diagnostic tool... Heck, I'm shelling out $29 for inspection anyway, might as well get the most out of it!

I'll get the alignment.

Anyone know a good alignment shop for Volvo's in the Boston area?

Regarding patience... I've learned it has to be a prerequisite when fixing cars myself. You never know what you're gonna run into under there.

Hoping it'll come off easily since it's worn.
