Cleeland- I traded in the 901 to get one with a volvo warranty. If it breaks w/in a year, I can get another one at no cost to me! Otherwise, you have to pay the core charge(which differs from state to state). I believe the difference the 900 & 901 is the the latter has a few more features and it came in MOST c70s (and some v70s) with the prologic system. It also came out in MY late 1999 & 2000.
