Wet spare tire...? S70 1998

I am puzzled as to how/why I am getting water in the spare tire well in my 98 S70 t5? I dried it out a few weeks ago, thinking that some of the windshield washer fluid jugs I kept in the trunk had leaked. I have not had any liquids in the trunk at all since then... the well and spare tire are wet again.

I can think of 2 things... 1, there might be a drainage pipe from the sunroof that is blocked with leaves and crap? This was a common problem on my 740?

I had a slight rear end collision... it was fixed without removing the panels... although it was on the driverside fender corner... could there be a leak from a bad body repair?

Is there a drain for the spare tire well?

TIA for the info.
