Should I upgrade '03 V40 to '04 XC70? S40-V40 2003

In December (2002), my trusty old '89 740 wagon just started costing too much to maintain (after a $700 charge to find and fix a short in the engine wiring harness, then 2 weeks later the starter motor failed), so I bought a nice shiney new 2003 V40 (saphire black).

The V40 works great, no problems at all (except the paint seems to scratch with very little provocation). But I got waaaay too used to the big 740, and now I feel like I'm driving a rice-rocket with my a** almost on the pavement. Not to mention that the cargo bay is quite a bit smaller.

Anyway, I'm thinking of taking the V40 back to the dealer to trade in against a lease on a new 2004 XC-70 (no way I can afford to actually BUY such an expensive beast). I just can't seem to get my mind off the XC70 -- every time I get into my V40 I think how bloody small it is.

What do you think? Am I crazy or what? :-)

Thanks for any opinions and advice.

Cheers,
Andre
