Compressor infrequent cycling? Help! 850 1996

My A/C is cycling with a long intervals (few minutes) when it is still suppose to run. On a hot day it will blow nice cold air and then suddenly shuts off. The blower is on blowing a hot air. Then 5-10 minutes later A/C is running fine again.
When the hot air is blowing, I look at the clutch and it is 'resting'. Switching A/C control on the dash does not change anything.
Is my problem in the low pressure sw, or any other switch?
