Electronic Climate Control 850 1997

Thanks for info on the codes.

Regarding the dealer, we're in a bitch session (marathon is more like it) right now. They maintain that the ECC had failed, and that what I found was in addition to the problem. Since, they could not produce the old ECC (as I had asked them to keep when I took it in to be replaced), I have my concerns about my dealer's honesty.

While I'm on the subject, I also own a 98 V70XC and get the impression that if I want to keep both cars and be able to do any significant amount of work on them myself, I need a Volvo-specific code reader. Any suggestions?

Working on my 66 Austin-Healey 3000 is so much more enjoyable.

Thanks for your reply.
