Electronic Climate Control 850 1997

Back in reality, nobody wants to spend money. Any good businuess mind is going to tell you there's nothing they can do. In reality there's all sorts of things they can do. They SHOULD have eaten the cost, since your old ECC has vaporized.

Fact of the matter is, if you paid for the new box, the old box is still your property. The local repair place kept my dead crush rings for me to see. They should have kept (and prolly did keep) your old ECC. They need to produce it or you're going to have to bill them for it. If they return it, odds are they will have put 12v or even 120v across random pins to break it.

What I've learned from the time I've spent dealing with the local dealer, is that if you're right and you know you're right, all you have to do is continue to make your case. The reputation of a dealership is it's life blood in most cases.
