Looking for Rear Deck S70 Speaker S70 1998

Hmmmm. My rear deck speakers on this recently acquired car also emit the 'farting noise' on bass sounds. How do you remove the rear deck covers over the speakers to look for reasons for this distortion. Is it just a matter of levering them up with a wide bladed knife of some sort? From what side is the best to insert a 'levering tool'

Thanks for any advice.
