OIL SEPERATOR 850 1996

I believe all 850's, turbo and NA, have an oil trap located below the intake manifold. It is part of the crankcase ventilation system. It has 2 or 3 hoses going into the block, out of sight. There is a potential for clogging. To access the trap requires removing the intake manifold first. The flat rate manual lists the R&R of the intake manifold to be 2.2 hours.

Turbo's don't use a flame trap, only the NA. If you have a NA, did you clean or replace the flame trap? Did you check the hoses that attach to the flame trap housing for blockage?

Good luck.
