Serp belt with no AC compressor?

Has anyone bypassed their A/C compressor with a serpentine belt? My compressor bearings seized and I did not want to replace it as I suspect the evap is also gone and my car has 275k miles on it. (plus I live on the north country and only use A/C 2 weeks a year, tops) So my local dealer graciously experimented with different belts to try and help me avoid the pain of buying another compressor. They found a Napa belt that did the trick for a while, but it is now squeeking like crazy.

Just wondering if anyone has a tried and true solution or belt part no.??

Many thanks,
Clude
