Help-Heater Fan Fault? 850 1996

It's -35 degrees Farenheit with wind chill in upstate New York, and I started my car after stopping in at the auto parts store and the LED's above the Auto and Recirc switches flashed for about 30 seconds. Subsequently, the fan doesn't run but there is heat coming out of the ports at highway speed. I checked the blower fuse and it was fine. Coolant temp is fine at about the 3:00 position and coolant level is up to level. Fan was doing fine and have not had any squealing. I can check the fan this weekend, but I need heat now...

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Larry
