power steering fluid replacement V70-XC70 1999

'98-'00 70 series have the common problem of PS fluid leak from a lose clamp at the fluid reservoir. Keep an eye on it, it it happens again soonafter, I would try a new clamp.

PS fluid also deteriorates with age and heat, like tranny and motor oil. The lazy man's way to refresh the fluid is(which is how I do all my bricks):

1)with a turkey baster remove as much fluid as possiblem from PS reservoir,
2)refill with fresh ATF dexron III,
3) turn car on and move steering wheel lock to lock five times.
Turn car off. Repeat above steps 4 to 5 more times, there you have new fluid for another 75K miles.
