What should I expect after 120k miles? 850 1995

No, I didn't do it myself. I was thinking about that to do it myself but I wasn't sure that whether I could loosen the BIG 32/36mm axle nut. So I let dealer to do it. I have the 32/36mm socket but don't have the "long" breaker bar or air tool to loosen the nut.

Once the nut is off, you may need to use a hammer to bang on the axle to loosen the hub from the axle spline. This is due to the rust or any metal glue between the axle spline and the hub. Brickers in the board and in Volvospeed.com forum recommended to put the old nut back on the axle but not all the way in. Then you bang on the nut not the tip of the axle such that you keep the axle not to be damaged from banging.

Hope this help.
