850 door actuator horrible noise 850 1997

have had this ongoing screeching noise emmenating from the right rear door during locking. sometimes it happens during unlocking but rarely. pulled things apart and found that it is the door actuator / motor that is "grinding". i was wondering what the proper way to remove it is. i have it seperating from the lock assembly and the "black plastic" shield. however i dont see how to get it out with out cutting the wires to which it is attatched? where does this thing unplug? any suggestions?

thanks.
