99 V70 Motor mount V70-XC70

Hi Marty,

For ease of installation, the two-piece design that FCP sells is the way to go. IPD also carries a two-piece polyurethane version of the mount that will work in your particular application.

On my 98 V70 the setup is slightly different, and I decided to replace mine with the OEM design, and yes, it was a real PITA to press the new mount into place. If I had it to do over again, I would go the FCP or IPD route and deal with the possibility that I might notice a slight increase in vibration through the dash/steering wheel.. Some folks here and also at Volvospeed have experimented with both types and some can feel a variance in the vibration, but I have not hands on knowledge, as I stuck with OEM.

Whatever you decide to do, good luck and let us know how it goes.

Dave
