Losing oil 850 1996

The Volvo Owner's manual suggests that your check oil each time you fill up with gas or weekly-not every thousand miles or kilometers. If you burn one quart every at every fill-up, then you should worry. If your tech can find no leak or burning oil source, you need to take the "wait and see approach", while checking the oil more often and carrying a quart or two in the trunk.
