Buzzing sound? V70-XC70

Dear Fellow Travelers:

I have been meaning to ask this question for a long time: My 2001XC70 makes a strange and quite buzzing sound after I turn off the ignition and remove the key. The buzzing lasts for no longer than 2 minutes tops. I am certain that this is some kind of electrically generated sound. The question is,however, What is this sound? Is this something that I should direct my dealer to deal with or all these cars have this phenomenon occur?
