Bent rod on #3 cylinder S70 1998

I recently bought a 1998 S70 T5 manual trans. that had a bent rod on the #3 cylinder due to filling with fuel or oil ( not sure ). Has anyone else heard of this problem and if so, what is the cause and proper fix to ensure it will not happen again. The car also runs rough for a few seconds when it has been started after not running for a few days... Any information would be much appreciated!

Please contact me at Adam@digitalvelocity.com if you have heard of or are familiar with this problem
