So i had never driven a fwd manual volvo a figured i might as well check it out. That car was a freaking mess:

1) Definitly wrecked, hood would only open under hard pulling and i would bend and you had to hold the hood-release lever.

2)The left fender was on so bad that it rubbed a divot on the top of the corner light

3) The bumper hung off, and the paint did not match the body.

4) Rear tailight was full of black gunk and water

5) the drivers seat rocked back and forth

6) The clutch has a little resistance at the top and then would almost collapse to the floor, very non-linear feeling. And the stick was really rubberry( compared to a 00 maxima, is that usual?)

AND THE BIGGIE
7) Passengers strut tower was cracked all the way from the top to the bottom!!!
OUCH!! I was nice but told the guy that the best way to sell this car is to dump it at an auction. He told me he was in no hurry to sell it. He got it from a freind who buys cars at auction.

Thanks for all your help, do the C70's have the same shifter and clutch feeling?
