A/C repair 1997

$950 is a GREAT price because it's awfully invasive and involves removing just about everything between the front seats and the firewall.

If it's any consolation, the cost of an evaporator replacemtent in a 300E is almost exactly twice the Volvo's cost!

I also checked this on Honda products before purchasing (we have 3) and both the heater core and evaporators can be replaced without removing much of anything.
