dash lights flash 850

Soemtines when I am idling in heavy traffic, and usually it is also very hot (has been 90+ and hi humidity here in nyc for weeks) all of a sudden all the idiot lights on my dash flash..soemtimes once, sometimes longer...it does not feel like the car will stall. When I get moving again, or put it in neutral and give it gas, the problem seems to stop. It is a non-turbo 94 850 wagon, with 210K miles, but always well serviced...fuel filter, and all tune up items less than 10K. The battery connections are tight and clean.

Any ideas would be appriciated.
