Strange 850 Brake Problems

I'd say you could have a sticking caliper but mostly sounds like how an ABS conroller sounds when it is going bad. Do a search here for ABS...plenty about a guy called Victor Rocha who rebuilds these for the fraction of what Volvo will charge you. Good luck. BTW, the ABS unit going out is a common failure on these cars.
