ETM Recall S80

My opinion is no car ever made has been without parts failure. As to saftey what happens if the fuel pump quits? You get no warning and the car is just as dead. Should the Feds force auto manufactures to recall cars because the pump might die? Or a relay may fail. Or a fuse might blow. In the late 70s and 80s the wiring harnesses had the insulation degrade and the car could potentially quit. I know because my 240 did it. It quit going up the Coronado Bay bridge but I did not go to Volvo or the Feds and whine about the POTENTAL harm that could have happened. I sucked it up and paid the money to have it fixed. Remember this in the event you do not consider another Volvo...........behind every car make dealership in the world there is a very large building full of broken cars and people fixing them.
