coolant leeking S70 2000

First, make sure the coolant is not just dripping from the bottle. Wipe the under side of the bottle with a paper towl. It seems a bit premature for a water pump failure.
Remove the cover for the timing belt and use a flashlight to verify where the coolant is leaking from. The water pump is at the bottom of the engine.
