Thanks for your email. It continues to rain here so I will use some glue to patch mine until warmer months. I found the part number for the rubber weather stripping that surrounds the glass part of the sunroof at fcpgroton.com for less than $50. The part number is #1390349. Also, Volvo's special adhesive to attach this is part # 1161768 which is $24 a tube. I don't know what exactly this stuff is, but my friend who is a windshield installer said he has some urethane adhesive he uses on windsheilds for $5.00 a tube he would sell me and that it would work. I figured out what was the matter....it's the metal frame around the glass that the weather strip is attached to...it's rusting, allowing water in between it and the glass...so, the rubber piece has to come off, the rust gotten rid of and surface prepared before gluing down a new piece (price and part # above). A guy on S.S. gave me a link that will give you an idea of what happens with our sunroofs. I don't think mine is a rusted as his, but I won't know until I take off the rubber weather stripping.
