I know it took alot of end user pressure to get them to reimburse, but regardless, it is better than most companies. I was in the Mercedes dealership the other day looking at an E class CDI. but after doing some research, it would appear that Mercedes is REALLY bad about not standing behind their product. Lots of early failures and no reimbursement for MB. Needless to say, I passed on the $50,000 CDI. I could buy an R, and take the extra 15 K and more than pay for any increased gas consuption.
