Back in the old days, my dad used to turn the copper washer upside down and reuse it once. Saved himself 10cents. The aluminum crush washer is much softer than the copper and I would not intentionally reuse it. But I think I just did when I changed the oil on my V70. I don't remember putting a new one on. It is not leaking this week, so I guess it will be OK.
I don't have ramps, so I just jack the car up just enough to get the oil pan under the frame. Then I let it drain for at least 15 minutes. My V70 took 6.5 quarts of 5W40 and the 850 was exactly 6 quarts of 5W40.
If you have some general purpose grease, it is a good idea to grease the steering stops to eliminate any noise when the wheel is in full turn mode.
