LOL. I have not understood the need for bottled water in the USofA. All water supplied by a municipality is potable and extremely cheap; pennies per gallon. Why buy water in a plastic bottle, when a canteen would keep the water colder and is refillable?
Yes, the petrol is cheaper here. $2.99/Us gallon today. It fluctuates $.25, usually daily, so buying a tank full is always a gamble! But we do not have an alternative means of transportation subsidized by the state. Unless one lives in a major city, there is no transport to get to the grocery store, pharmacist, or even to work.
