High Engine Temperature Message in heavy stop/go traffic (I-5) V70-XC70 2001

Thanks for the reply. I am in Seattle so it isn;t really that hot (low 80s at the most). The radiator fins seem OK other than dents from rocks. Don't think I have ever changed the radiotor fluid in 6 yrs. Have gotten mixed answers from the dealers back when I was getting service from Volvo service. I plan to get this done as well as soon as I can score an appointment. Thanks, Tom
