Thank you. I did look on Volvospeed.com I've spent a lot of time there. I found a lot of codes but not a lot on specifically how to use the boxes. In any event I called around in my city and found a wide variety of prices to clear the code--dealer $85, idie's were from $30-$45 and one for FREE!!! Needless to say that's were I went just today. In and out in five minutes. He showed me how to clear the SRS and did the service light as well (though he did it so fast I don't remember the specific sequence). He said that I could learn how to do it all myself with a book from Volvo for about $90. Well that's just what I want now. Anybody know where to get the Volvo code book for a '94 850 for cheap?



By the way I also found out that on models that don't have the boxes the true mileage can be found out from the engine computer but it must be done by the dealer who has $$$$$ machine with $$$$$$$ software that will extract the info. Next time someone is looking at a used Volvo they might want to run it by the dealer to see the true mileage.
