Mike - going on memory here, but I think you have to reset it. I don't believe "low fuel level" is known by the software that sets the light - in other words, I believe it simply recognizes ignition is not going as it should, and after enough failures you get the CEL. I don't think this goes away by itself but I could be wrong. Don
