Anyone know anything about Audi A6s?

The A6 is a great car and the awd system is better than Volvo's. There is absolutely NO room to work on the engine. When my wife's thermostat went out, I asked the dealer where it is... 2 hours of work. Nothing is accessable in the engine bay. Even changing the oil is a pain, the splash pan needs to be dropped and it is held on with a dozen fasteners!
The cam seals tend to go at around 30-40K miles. The rear brakes are easier to work on, though.
