1998 S70 T5 Timing Belt Question

Hi,
I've planned to replace only the tensioner and pulley every second time belt change but now I have a 'dry metal sqeek' for 10 secs when starting winter cold and thus will eliminate water pump as the source when changing the belt next time very soon.
